Your Child will practice the ancient tradition of Yoga modified for Children with Fun Animal & Nature poses. Yoga for Children helps children channel their emotions positively, stimulates creativity, develops positive body awareness, improves self-confidence, concentration, patience & problem solving skills. Yoga develops the balanced, total personality of the child- Heather’s 3 children all practice Yoga. Heather, a Doral parent, holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work, is a Certified Hatha Yoga Instructor with ­24+ years of Yogic practice & 18 Years of Yogic Teaching experience. No prior Yoga experience required-wear comfortable clothes, easy on/off shoes & bring a Yoga Mat & Eye Bag or purchase from Ms. Heather. Grades K-5.
