Christian Walking Club

This is a week-long event in which we intend to mainly climb Corbetts, (hills between 2,500 and 3,000 feet above sea level), from a base near Cannich in the Scottish Highlands.  

Cannich is situated at the head of two long and exceptionally remote and beautiful glens, Glen Affric and Glen Cannich, and also close to a third, (Glen Strathfarrar).   The mountains rising above these glens make Cannich a prime mountain walking destination in the Scottish Highlands.

The event is limited to a group of six single people staying at “Glen Affric View” cottage, near Cannich.

You are responsible for making your own way to the cottage.

The walks are all expected to be categorized 'hard' or 'very hard' and most will involve walking over rough uneven terrain, steep slopes and many will have elements of scrambling.

Our CWC walk leaders will determine the route/walk the group does on each day based on weather conditions, the capability of the group and other considerations. (A list of the selection of hills we hope to select from is listed in the holiday prospectus, available from the event organiser).

Accommodation is at Glen Affric View cottage. Details of this can be found on the rental agent’s website “Unique Cottages”.

Accommodation Costs:

Cost is £375 with refunds to be given after the holiday if we get full or near full cottage occupancy.

Please allow for additional costs of self-catered meals, car transport costs to walk starts, eating out on the final evening and personal spending.
