ABOUT YOUR PRESENTER

Mark is Founder and Director of Coach Central International, a UK-based worldwide coach education provider. Mark is an experienced and sought-after international tennis coach educator, speaker and consultant, who has worked with coaches from over 100 countries around the world. Mark previously worked at the ITF and the LTA (UK), and has presented in conferences in over 80 countries, including ITF Worldwide Coaches Workshops, and Gland Slam conferences in the UK and Australia.

As presenter of these 1-day workshops, Mark will share his experience, ideas and insight into some topics in coaching, leaving participants with a wide range of ideas and solutions which you can implement into your programme immediately

WORKSHOP 1 - DRILLS AND SKILLS: 10 KEY PRINCIPLES FOR TAKING YOUR DRILLS TO THE NEXT LEVEL

Course description: A one-day International Coach Workshop which shares 10 key principles to elevate any drill to the next level. Each of the 10 principles enhances your drills, ensuring they are highly effective, maximising your players' time on court with you.

Course duration: 7 hours including breaks

Course learning outcomes:

• Understand the details which make a great drill, including game situations, tactical intentions, ball characteristics and feeding which will take your drills to the next level
• Take away a set of 10 core principles to elevate your drills to the next level
• Take away a drills checklist to help you evaluate the effectiveness of your coaching after the workshop

Attendees will receive a certificate for attendance at this workshop and a set of electronic Workshop notes.

WORKSHOP 2 - GREAT GROUP COACHING

This workshop is brought to you by Coach Central International, the worldwide education brand of inspire2coach, in partnership with Greek tennis providers ETC and ASAPP.

Course description: A one-day International Coach Workshop which will provide you with the coaching skills and solutions to work with groups of junior and adult players in your tennis programme. You’ll leave the course with great ideas on how to keep players active, learning and having fun in a group environment. You’ll also get some great takeways on how to organise your group, and game and drills to bring your group lessons to life.

Course duration: 7 hours including breaks

Course learning outcomes:

• Understand the importance of great organisation in your group coaching
• Know how to organise your groups to get them playing in a fun and safe environment
• How to coach players effectively in a group environment
• Learn the key patterns of group organisation which will work in your singles and doubles group lessons
• Take away some great games, drills and competition formats to use with your junior and adult groups

Attendees will receive a certificate for attendance at both workshops and electronic Workshop notes for each Workshop.
