This 'Fun and Fire Experience' includes your choice of a Raku ready pottery piece. The class starts with learning about the raku firing process and different options for glazing. Next, you will pick your piece from those available for the class and pick your glaze. After the initial instruction, you will glaze your own piece with raku glazes. The fun continues while you watch the firing process, outdoors on the brick patio, while enjoying the company of other artists. Light snacks and beverages will be provided. You will watch as your piece is pulled red hot from the kiln and placed into the reduction can. Here comes the flames.  Lastly, you will learn the process of cleaning your Raku piece. You will clean yours and bring it home!!! (Raindate is November 2nd 1:00pm - 4:30pm) ($25 materials fee paid to the instructor)
