Mixed Level Ceramics: Creativity & Flexibility

This beginner-friendly class is the perfect place to start your ceramics journey. You’ll begin with the pottery wheel, learning how to create mugs, bowls, plates, and more, while also exploring handbuilding and sculptural techniques. Students can focus on functional ware, blend forms, or experiment with conceptual pieces—the path is yours to choose.

Taught by Logan Stefonek of Old Devil Fine Wares, a professional artist and educator with years of ceramics experience, the course combines solid technical instruction with encouragement for creative exploration. Logan helps beginners feel confident while also challenging returning students to expand their skills.

As with all Elemental Studios classes, this course also emphasizes wellness. By practicing creative flexibility, students strengthen emotional well-being and personal growth—learning to break rigid patterns in clay and in life, opening space for new perspectives and deeper creativity.

By the end, you’ll have several finished pieces and the confidence to continue exploring clay with both skill and imagination.
