CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

AR-15 fundamentals Level 1 training is geared specifically for the carbine rifle platform.

Class will cover how carbine rifles operate, the different ammunition (calibers) they shoot, barrel length in relation to muzzle velocity, loading-unloading, magazine changes, charging, optic-accessories placement, carry methods, transportation, and shooting.

Stance, grip, muzzle control, trigger control, sight alignment, using optics vs iron sights, using height over bore when shooting up close, using magnifiers for distances of 100 meters or more, and marksmanship.

Target acquisition, moving with your AR, multiple targets, and how to clear malfunctions.

Needed for class: eye & ear protection, carry case, spare magazines, 100 rounds of ammunition, and water.

Field stripping and maintenance to include basic armorer work.

Class fee is $40, includes range fees.
