This training is designed to support you in maintaining safety and trust with your clients during emergencies.
When clients become agitated or start to decompensate, they might yell, damage property, or even become violent towards themselves or others. Our natural reaction might be to escalate in response or immediately call authorities like the police. However, not all situations require such intervention, and due to many clients' past traumas involving police and hospitals, this can sometimes worsen the situation and damage the trust you've built. De-escalation training empowers you to help clients return to a calm state, ensuring their safety and preserving the trust in your relationship.
