The Galway Bay Sailing Club Oyster Festival Saturday the 27th of September.

Our annual Galway Bay Sailing Club Oyster festival is on the 27th of September and is one of the highlights of the club social calendar.

Sailors make their way by sea or by land to the docks where we dine in splendour on oysters , mussels, pints of stout and other fare.

Our pop up shebeen is a sight to behold and music and craic are guaranteed. You will need to pre order your oysters and mussels

The dock Gates will open at approximately 6.00 pm, and close just before 9PM

Oysters are professionally shucked and ready for your enjoyment and our resident chefs will cook your mussels a la marinière

This event celebrates the final race in the King of The Bay Race series.

Additionally the dinghies will have their own race.

There is a surcharge of 10€ for bookings after the 25th of September

Complimentary Brown Bread, butter, Lemons, etc.
