Date night, friends night, family night...or a just because night! No experience needed! Come make a few vessels on the pottery wheel!

You will be led through the process of throwing on the pottery wheel by an instructor. This is a great opportunity to try something new and have fun. We are aiming for a small bowl or cylinder form during the class. At the end of the class, we will label your work with your initials.

The pieces students make must dry for at 1-2 weeks before going into the first firing. After the first firing, the instructor will glaze the pieces and fire them again. After the final firing, NW Ceramics package up student work and notify students via email to come pick up finished pottery. This process takes about 5-6 weeks. Due to limited storage space, we can only hold your pottery for 8 weeks. After 8 weeks (from the date we notify that your pottery is done and ready for pickup) we will have to discard your pieces.

All material and firings are included in the cost of the class.

This class is intended for students 18 years and older. However, students under 18 are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Minimum age is 12.

Please give us at least 3 days notice for cancellations. If cancelled after the 3 day window, a refund may not be issued.
