Retraite LHBTQ+
All of the conditioned reality (what we experience of life) is in a constant state of change, and is therefore unreliable. We suffer because we want to rely on things and circumstances that are inherently impermanent. We identify with aspects of ourselves and our lives that are changing and we try to control them so that we experience them the way we want. Recognizing our tendencies around these three characteristics and learning to
pause as we encounter them can bring great clarity and freedom in our lives.
In this retreat, we will explore the foundational teachings on the three characteristics of conditioned existence. Through sustained mindfulness and contemplative inquiry, we will investigate our experience using the liberating lenses of anicca (impermanence), dukkha (unsatisfactoriness), and anattā (non-self). Practicing with these liberating insights can support our understanding of conditioned reality more clearly and open the way to greater freedom, wisdom, and peace.
Nynke Humalda will be in this retreat for practical assistance.
