The Dive Talk family continues to grow, and we love spending time together in paradise, divers and non-divers alike, experienced or new, open circuit or closed circuit, even free divers are welcome, there is something for everyone, and we can't wait to spend a week with all of you in San Pedro!

FAQs:

Q: Do these prices include airfare?

A: No. We have attendees from all over the world, and it would be impossible to predict where everyone is flying from. If you register to attend the meetup, make sure you book your airfare separately as soon as possible. Once your airfare is booked, you'll be good to go since your Meetup registration includes: round-trip airfare from Belize City to San Pedro, airport transfers, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and non-alcoholic drinks, morning diving, and all the rest of the free Meetup activities.

Q: I don't have any gear. Can I borrow or rent some gear in Ramon's Village?

A: Rental gear is available for a fee from Ramon's Village Divers, the dive shop/operator on-site at Ramon's Village Resort.

Q: Can I attend if I'm not a diver?

A: Absolutely! There is a $350 discount for non-divers. During registration, select your room package and indicate that the registrant is a non-diver. At checkout, add the NONDIVERDISCOUNT code to receive the $350 discount.

Q: Can I dive my rebreather? What's included?

A: Definitely! Sorb and Oxygen will be available for rebreather divers for a flat fee of $250. Make sure you bring your O2 bottle so it can be filled. Bailout bottles (AL80) will be available. Bring your rigging and you'll be good to go. CCR Divers will dive rebreather profiles!

Q: Can I bring some friends and do triple or quadruple occupancy?

Q: Are we going to have amazing speakers again for this meetup?

A: YOU BET.

Q: Are you giving away several rebreathers again?

A: I don't know...Are we? ;)

Q: Will I be able to dive with Gus and Woody?

A: Absolutely! Terri too!

Q: I'm not certified yet. Can I register right now as a diver and get certified before the meetup?

A: Yes, please! Make it your goal, and let's dive together!

Q: Can I just book directly with the resort and dive with you guys?

A: No. We are doing a total resort takeover. There will not be any availability that week outside our group.

Q: Is there shore diving available?

A: Unlike Bonaire - the site of our 2024 meetup - shore diving is not common in San Pedro (with the exception of training dives off the dock). We are planning to dive from dive boats all week!

Q: I attended the 2025 Meetup in Roatan. Do I get special treatment as a repeat attendee?

A: OF COURSE! If you are a repeat attendee, we will pay your Nitrox ($125) or half your CCR fees ($125). If you don't dive Nitrox or CCR, 75 free raffle tickets! When you register, add nitrox, or sorb, and O2, or the 75-ticket package to your registration. Then use the code OGNitrox (for Nitrox), or OGCCR (for rebreathers), or OGTIX (for tickets). This will ensure your request for these items are accounted for, and we take care of the cost for you. We will validate your previous attendance with our records.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

A: Cancel by December 31, 2025, for a full refund (minus the non-refundable deposit). Cancellations that occur between January 1, 2026 - February 28, 2026, will be eligible for a 50% refund (minus the non-refundable deposit). Cancellations that occur between March 1, 2026 - April 18, 2026, will be eligible for a 25% refund (minus the non-refundable deposit). We are unable to refund any fees past April 18, 2026.

Q: Can I fly in early? Or stay late? Can I add extra nights?

A: TREAT YO SELF! Email us at info@divetalkmeetup.com with any dates you would like to add to your meetup registration, and we will quote you for the extra nights. You can also add this information to your registration.

Q: I'm not a fan of beer or wine. Is there a full bar at Ramon's Village?

A: No. They only have local beer and wine for purchase. However, you can stop at the Duty Free store once you are in the airport, the supermarket next door, or there is a few local stores that sell a range of spirits you can take to the resort.

Q: What currency is accepted in San Pedro, Belize?

A: The official currency of San Pedro, Belize is the Belize Dollar. The current exchange rate is 2:1. Example: $20 Belize dollars = $10 US dollars

Q: Can I attend the meetup partially? I can only be there for a couple of days.

A: Technically yes, but space will be prioritized for full attendees. Email us at info@divetalkmeetup.com with your partial dates, and we will do our best to get you a spot for the nights you are able to attend.

Q: Will CCR/Sidemount divers dive recreational open circuit profiles from the boat?

A: The current plan is to have all CCR and Sidemount divers to do one long (approx. 2 hours) dive instead of two short (<1 hr.) recreational dives. However, if you are a CCR or Sidemount diver on a recreational boat (I.E., you are diving with a buddy who's in a single tank OC configuration), you will be diving Rec OC profiles.

If you are a CCR Diver, diving from the "CCR Boat", you will be doing 1 CCR boat dive daily instead of 2 single-tank Open circuit dives.

Q: What about kids between ages 13-18?

A: Children over 12 years old require full registration.
