EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK ONE-DAY COURSE - EAST GLOUCESTERSHIRE LTC, CHELTENHAM
Emergency First Aid at Work one-day course
Delivery will be by presentation, discussion, demonstration and practical simulation. Candidates will undergo a short and informal assessment of competence during the course.
This course is recognised by the LTA for the purposes of LTA Coach Accreditation
The Emergency First Aid at Work course covers:
- Main aims of First Aid
- Management of First Aid situations
- Dealing with unconsciousness
- Resuscitation procedure
- Defibrillation for adult and child
- Choking
- Dealing with illnesses
- Treatment and control for bleeding and fractures
- First aid equipment and recording
On successful completion of the course and on-course assessment, a three year certificate will be issued
Access, Faith or other needs and requirements
If you have any access, learning, faith or other needs or requirements, please email the course organiser at least one week before the course is due to start. Please also let us know if you will be attending with a personal assistant or communicator. The course tutor will be advised of your requirements and reasonable adjustments will be made where possible.
