New West Theatre

Designed for aspiring performers preparing to enter the industry, this intensive, day-long workshop offers a practical and professional approach to mastering the audition process. Participants will bring in their own audition monologue to refine through individualized coaching and group discussion. 

Led by New West Theatre Artistic Director Kelly Reay, this workshop focuses on developing strong, authentic performances while addressing the expectations of today’s casting rooms. Topics include professional presentation, material selection, script interpretation, handling adjustments, and maintaining confidence under pressure.

By the end of the day, participants will leave with sharpened audition techniques, actionable feedback, and a deeper understanding of how to present themselves with skill and professionalism in any audition environment.
