6 Week Pottery Wheel Workshop

The beginning pottery wheel workshop is designed to begin with a foundation of skills in throwing on the pottery wheel. This course will cover, throwing functional ceramics, trimming and glaze application. This class is outlined for students with no experience and those with previous wheel experience who would like to refine basic pottery wheel skills.

$305 course includes:
-6 classes of instruction.
-Open studio throughout the duration of the class.
-25lbs of clay
-Studio glazes and firings
-Tools provided
-Optional punchcard membership after the workshop

Some students will go through their bag of clay throughout the workshop. Additional clay may be purchased at the studio if needed. 

Open studio is during business hours only and there is no instruction but a time for students to practice or catch up on work. 

Minimum age is 18 years old. We do not accept outside clay and glazes for this class. 

One week grace period for students to finish their work who do not plan on joining the studio as a member. If students would like to join as a member, they can continue on by purchasing the punchcard membership after the workshop. 

Glazing class required after finishing the 6 week workshop if students plan to join as a member.
