Jan - Mar Homeschool YOUTH ART (Mondays 1:00 - 2:00 PM) - 12 Weeks
Homeschool Youth Art Studio (Ages 9–12)
Overview
Created just for homeschool artists, this daytime studio combines structured art training with room to explore personal creativity. Students build painting and drawing skills through guided projects that balance technique and imagination — all in a relaxed, encouraging environment that values curiosity and self-expression.
What Students Will Learn
- Core techniques in drawing, shading, perspective, and colour theory
- How to plan and complete both studies and finished artworks
- Visual-arts concepts aligned with middle-school curriculum standards
- How to communicate ideas and emotions through visual storytelling
Why It Matters
This class helps homeschool youth strengthen observation, focus, and creative problem-solving — while giving them a tactile, screen-free way to express themselves. It supports independent thinking and builds confidence to tackle more advanced art challenges.
End Experience
By the end of the session, each student will have a small portfolio of original works that demonstrate growing skill and style — plus the foundation to advance into the Portfolio Track at Arts on Fire if they wish to pursue more formal training.
