Overview
A creative introduction to digital drawing for homeschool students who love technology and storytelling. Using beginner-friendly tools, students design their own characters, backgrounds, and storylines.
What Students Will Learn
- Digital drawing techniques, layering, and colour theory
- Character design and creative project planning
- Safe and responsible use of digital art software
Why It Matters
Digital art bridges creativity and technology — giving homeschool students an early edge in today’s media-driven world. It’s a great fit for visual learners and kids who enjoy games, design, or filmmaking.
End Experience
Students complete their own digital illustration to share online or add to a creative portfolio.
Required Equipment
Students must bring their own IPad/Tablet with required software installed:
For IPad: Procreate APP installed before class
For Android: Ibis Paint APP installed before class
