Grow Veggies In-Person Program (Saturdays)

Our In-Person Grow Veggies program is a 7-month program that starts on Zoom while the weather’s chilly, and moves to in-person, hands-on sessions once it warms up, usually by week 5 or 6.

The program fee of $480+HST includes 30 weeks of program instruction, handouts and resources, a share of the harvest (amongst those in attendance), and everything that we’ll need to grow vegetables in our team garden plot including seeds, supplements, tools, etc. The in-person sessions take place on our urban farm at Downsview Park, which is easily accessible by car or public transit. Classes start at 10:00am and end at 12:30pm each week. In-person classes happen rain or shine, but may be cancelled if there is high risk of lightning or heavy rain.
