Program Details:

• Season: Early Winter 2026
• Dates: January 10 – February 14 (6 weeks)
• When: Saturdays, 10–11:30 a.m.
• Runway Show: Saturday 2/14 at 1 pm in our studio (just for students of this co-hort, a small, intimate show)

For six weeks, kids will dream, sketch, and bring their designs to life—turning deadstock fabrics and pre-loved garments into stunning, one-of-a-kind runway looks. From hand and machine sewing to embroidery, painting, upcycling (think pants into tops, tops into skirts), creating appliqués, and designing accessories—they’ll transform waste into wonder.

But this class goes far beyond fashion and fun (though we promise there’s plenty of both!). It’s about:

• Artistic freedom: Being unapologetically yourself.
• Intentionality: Learning slow fashion and caring for people and the planet.
• Life skills: Creative problem-solving, teamwork, communication, leadership, resilience, and persistence.
• Connection: A tech-free environment where kids collaborate and grow, guided by caring instructors who are not only skilled but deeply passionate about youth development and lifelong learning.

We’re proud to say that we are the pioneers of sustainable fashion education for kids in Ohio, starting with just two students back in 2017. Today, our programs continue to inspire confidence, creativity, and purpose in every child who walks through our doors.

Refund Policy

How to request: Email afterschool@columbusfashionacademy.com with your student’s name, course title, and start date.

Timing & amounts

• 4+ weeks before the start date: 100% refund minus a $25 administrative fee per course.
• 2–4 weeks before the start date: 50% refund minus a $25 administrative fee per course.
• Less than 2 weeks before the start date: No refunds.
• Nonattendance does not count as a withdrawal.
