This session will build on foundational knowledge learned in Basic Taxes & Benefits, and Refresher trainings. These à la carte sessions can be taken alongside any other course we offer as long as Basic Taxes & Benefits has already been completed.
Newcomers is a session focusing on the specific tax implications of clients arriving in Canada within the past 1-2 years, including how to report world income, non-resident spouses, spousal support payments, non-resident students, and GST/CAIP/CCB applications.
