Handbuild a Teapot, 2 classes of Instruction

*Some hand building experience required. If you have previously taken multiple one time hand building classes or our 4 or 6 week hand building workshops, this is a great class for you to continue your hand building experience.

In this workshop students will learn how to use slabs of clay to build a teapot and experience glazing the teapot. In the first class, students will create the vessel, spout, lid and handle. Students may add texture if desired. In the second class, students will glaze their teapot. When glazing, students can hand paint details or dip into studio glazes.

Minimum age is 16.

NW Ceramics will email students when ceramics are done and ready for pickup. Due to limited storage space, we can only hold pottery for 8 weeks. After 8 weeks (from the date we notify that your pottery is done and ready for pickup) we will have to discard your pieces.
