CANVAS Dance Arts

Stamina, coordination, and musicality are emphasized. Students are challenged to learn 24 - 32 count combinations at an intermediate pace and break down basic footwork skills.

Teen Classes are 60 minutes. This class is geared towards students in 6th grade and up. Unless invited by the instructor, grown-ups are asked to wait outside the dance studio.

This class is a Full Session and concludes with a stage performance.

Dates: Jan 12, 26, Feb 2, 9, 23, Mar 2, 9, 16, 23, Apr 13, 20 27, May 4, 11, 18 (NO CLASS Jan 19, Feb 16, Mar 30, Apr 6, May 25)

**Full Session performing classes participate in our Spring Recital on Saturday, May 30. Your session fee includes: recital participation and a recital costume.

Performance Location: Palace of Fine Arts, 3601 Lyon Street, SF (map)

Performance Time: TBA midway through the session. Please note siblings or dancers in two classes may participate in separate shows.

On performance day, dancers should provide their own:

• tan jazz shoes

Registration notes

• This is an advanced-beginner class. Dancers who join should have one year of dance experience in any style.
• Priority registration for the following session will be offered to currently enrolled students (Dancers enrolled in Spring receive priority for the Fall session)
• Register only once, duplicate registrations will not receive a full refund
