Brown Girls Code

Thank you for your interest in Brown Girls Code. We offer a premium computer science educational experience for students using a virtual, in person and hybrid afterschool programming model. Brown Girls Code (BGC) working to close the gender and diversity gap in technology. 

BROWN BOYS CODE Clubs (BBCC) are for Grades 2 - 5. We have an exciting setup for Year 2025-26. Clubs will include certified Instructors and Presenters from Top IT companies, Government and/or military. Girls will learn to code while exploring core topics related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. Clubs will also include hands-on activities. BG Coders will learn to collaborate on projects as they form a sisterhood and build in-demand skills to prepare them for 21st Century opportunities and beyond.

This club will start within our virtual or hybrid model.

2025-26 TOPICS include: Intro to Computer Programming, Game Development, Robotics, Digital Safety, Artificial Intelligence, AI Ethics, Mathematics, Mental Health & Wellness Skills and Computer Science.

3. The official schedule is provided automatically on the registration page and will allow you to add dates to your device calendar. Please note that dates are subject to change as directed.
4. Parents choose their investment options

Parental Investment: Parents can opt pay full tuition for their participant or opt to raise funds to cover their tuition by participating in one or more fundraisers using BGC’s approved tools (links will be provided). Unfortunately, we are no longer able to offer sponsorships due to lack of funding (i.e. DEI ), but you can raise funds to cover your participant’s tuition.

NOTE: For Parents who are enrolling multiple Coders, please complete first registration and then you will be emailed your confirmation. After the first registration you will get a "Register another person" button. Clicking on that presents you with another registration form already pre-filled and available for you to modify as needed. You will just need to update the form to reflect the 2nd Coder and complete your second registration.
