In this exciting object sculpture class, students will explore creativity by transforming everyday items into unique works of art. They'll learn sculptural principles such as balance, form, and texture, using materials like discarded toys, kitchen utensils, and natural elements. Through hands-on projects, students will experiment with techniques and styles, completing several sculptures to take home. Join us on a creative journey discovering artistic potential in overlooked objects!
This class will be held on Thursdays from 4:30 pm-6:00 pm. There is a capacity of 12 students per class, and these classes will be held as a 8-week-long program! We ask that you please reach out if your student is unable to attend class at any point during the 8 weeks (alyssa@lucslight.org). Doors will open 15 minutes before classes start. Pickup will be at the end of each class.
