DIY 4-Animal Mitt Making
In this FREE community building experience, you’ll learn how to make your very own pair of 4-Animal Mitts, live, and in person.
The legally harvested Deer Hide with Fur has been gifted by an Indigenous Sunalta resident.
The other materials were purchased at a local store.
In the 6 hours, you’ll be thoroughly engaged learning to properly handle, and prepare all the materials, sewing, and construction.
Basically, you’ll guided on everything to make a complete pair of your own 4-Animal Mitts from start to finish.
At the end of the four hours, you may not finish your mitts, however, you’ll walk out empowered with knowledge to complete your very own custom handmade pair of 4-Animal Mitts on your own at home.
We Provide (at no cost):
- Deer Hide with Fur (for backside)
- Buffalo Hide for Palm and Thumb
- Rabbit Fur Trim
- Sheep’s Wool Lining
- Artificial Sinew
- Glover Needles
- Homemade Light Meal, and Non-Alcoholic Beverage

- Pliers
- Thimble (Leather or Metal)
- Scissors
