Winter is coming! Make sure you're prepared for your outdoor escapades. Repair your puffy or other down gear and/or bring in your skis to learn about waxing and edge tuning. Even if you don't have gear to bring in, you can join to see what an ADK naturalist packs for a winter hiking excursion. Stop by, sip some hot tea or cocoa, and learn about winter backcountry gear considerations before your next adventure!

Warm drinks and repair materials - including patches, needle, and thread - will be provided. For those bringing skis, please note that ski tuning tutorials will be provided with the possibility of getting your own skis tuned if time allows! Please bring your own puffy item (jacket, sleeping bag, etc.) and/or skis if you would like to participate in a repair station.
