I call this our basic class.. but don't let that fool you.

• If you grew up shooting or hunting, but didn't have any formal handgun training.. this class is for you.
• If you were in the military some odd years ago, but didn't have any formal handgun training.. this class is for you.
• If grandpappy taught you to shoot coke bottles with a .357 mag in the back 40, but didn't have any formal handgun training.. this class if for you. Also, grandpappy was probably super based and you should do whatever he says.. but let us handle the professional pistol training.
• If you are brand new and have never even held a handgun before.. this class is for you.

With a breadth of experience, I will tailor a class to the needs of the students to challenge and grow anyone who shows up.

Our basic handgun class that will cover the following:

• Fundamentals of marksmanship
• Firearms Safety
• Range Etiquette
• Beginning of malfunction clearances

The itinerary for the class is an hour of presentation and three hours on the pistol range for a total of four hours. The class will likely go longer depending on the needs of the class, please plan on four to five hours.

I will send you a survey, please return it within seven days of the class so that I can prepare the best class possible for you.

Equipment needed:

• Eye protection
• Electronic ear protection (electronic is preferred, please reach out to me if this is not possible)
• Handgun with at least one magazine
• Approx. 100 rounds per student in your caliber
• Weather appropriate clothing (jackets, rain coats, etc.) - I will train in a monsoon, I don't care.

Recommended equipment:

• Ball cap

Bring water and snacks. We will not break for lunch, so if you know you get hangry, bring what you need to roll with the day.

The class must have a minimum of three students to proceed on the given day and has a maximum of six students. I will notify everyone a week in advance if the class does not meet the minimum requirements and refund your money.
