Have you ever wondered what makes some people such great outdoor leaders? Do you want to lead your own trip but feel slightly intimidated by being called “leader”? This experiential course includes an introduction to leadership styles, managing group dynamics, risk management, decision making, trip planning and execution, and teaching methods. The course will include both indoor classroom time and outdoor field activities. You will go home with increased confidence in your ability to be a leader. The program will be led by one or more of ADK’s Education Department staff.
