Deep Creek Fly Fishers - Classes

Missoula, Montana in October 19-23 2026

Fly fish the famous Blackfoot, Bitterroot, and Clark-Fork Rivers. Catch large rainbow, browns, cutthroat, whitefish, and bull trout. Rather wade or raft, the experience is life changing!

To sign up for this trip, each person must be paired up with a partner. Call Grizzly Hackle and ask for Rick for two reasons. First, to lock in the fishing dates of October 19-23 for the guides. If you want to fish for less time, that too can be arranged. Second, to secure an apartment above the fly shop. They have a very limited number of apartments. They book up VERY quickly. If the apartments are booked, then the local hotels are your next bet. The major chains are in town within walking distance of the fly shop. All payments are the responsibility of the partners.

The fishing dates are October 19 to 23, 2026. If you choose to fish for 3 days that too can be arranged. We will all meet at the Grizzly Hackle before 8:00 am. The guides pick us up and transport us to the different locations. They also provide lunch! Pre-trip meeting is mandatory on October 3, 2026.

The fishing cost is $700 for a full day, divided by the partners plus tips. The apartment is $300 per day, divided by the partners. The hotel cost could be higher. Rick will provide more details upon booking. Meals are walking distance to downtown. You can choose to bring your own rods, but the guides will have rods available if you want them. Bring your waders if you’re wade fishing. They will also provide flies.

Flying from Ontario Airport with a major airline will take you either to Salt Lake City or Denver then to Missoula. Take an Uber or taxi from the airport. I highly recommend NOT renting a car.
