This class is for those who desire to be involved in designing set and props, as well as provide support for costumes and sound for our drama club production at the end of the semester. For those who are willing, there is also a possibility to be an understudy in the very rare case of an actor being unable to make it to performance night. This class will include craft projects such as making props and designing certain elements of costumes, and time spent observing rehearsal and learning when to set a scene and deliver props to actors. Students must be willing to join with the larger class to participate in all class warm-up activities, as well as theater related lessons and activities. Class will be held alongside the drama performance group, and the tech team will have their own supervising teacher. The class fee covers a script for this year’s play, “The Entire America Revolution (In 40 Minutes Or Less)”.

Students need to be able to follow along in a script, read and recite lines aloud, and perform basic crafting activities (glue, tape, paint, etc.)
