The Art of Tapestry
This 8-week program offers students an immersive experience to explore mixed media art. The participants are to create two unique wall-hanging tapestries that reflect different aspects of their style. The first tapestry you create will feature vibrant colours, layers of painted papers, ribbon and beads.
The second embraces an earthy palette using natural tones, woods fabrics and found elements from nature to evoke calm. Each tapestry unfolds naturally layer by layer, as participants explore texture, colour, and composition. The process is joyful, reflective, and inspiring - resulting in two meaningful works of art that balance vibrancy and serenity.
All materials included. Participants are encouraged to bring small personal items that may be included in the art.
