La Costa Canyon Winter Classic (HS Varsity)
* This form is used to enter the entries for the 12/5 - 12/7/2025 La Costa Canyon Winter Classic Tournament (IN PERSON) for High School students. Please read the following instructions carefully.
QD Tournament Participation Requirement
- Students who are in our Competitive Program
- Tournament Participation is subject to Coach & Admin Approval
Who is eligible to participate?
- Students Grade: 9th-12th who are approved by the Varsity Team advisors
- All entries will be reviewed for approval by our Tournament Lead coaches
How to fill this out?
- Please fill out one form for each participating student.
- Select the event the student will be competing in.
Deadlines:
- Register by Monday, 11/24/2025 by 7:00pm. Payment by 11/26/2025 by 11:59pm.
- Any late sign ups will not be accepted.
- Any changes and drops after the deadline will incur a minimum $50 fee. Fees vary by tournament.

Tournament Fees
Tournament Service Fee: $50
Entry Fee Per Event for Speech: $30
Judging Fee for each SPEECH event: $70 (judging fee will be waived if parents can be judges for all days required)
Judging Fee for each DEBATE event: $375 (judging fee will be waived if parents can be judges for all days required)
**Drop deadline is 11/26/2025 at 11:59PM. No refunds will be issued after the drop deadline.**
Pattern A: Original Advocacy, Humorous Interpretation, Declamation, Dramatic Interpretation, Program Oral Interpretation, Impromptu
Pattern B: Extemporaneous, Duo Interpretation, Informative, Original Oratory, Original Prose & Poetry
