Art of Public Speaking (4th-5th)
What they will learn: In this engaging course, students will learn to express themselves with clarity, confidence, and creativity. Through lectures, fun interactive activities, and speech practice, students will master essential public speaking skills including eye contact, gestures, voice projection, and pacing. They’ll also explore basic peer feedback strategies and build the foundation for spontaneous and structured speaking formats.
How it applies to the real world: Students develop real-life communication skills that empower them to speak clearly in front of peers, teachers, and future audiences—whether it’s giving a presentation in class, sharing an idea at a team meeting, or confidently introducing themselves in new situations.
Deliverable: By the end of the course, students will participate in a live showcase where they perform a prepared speech or engage in a light debate, demonstrating their speaking growth.
