Sojourner Truth School for Social Change Leadership

Today, we, the people of the United States, need to stand up and be heard. When we stand together, raising our voices with clear demands, we have all the power we need to match the forces against us. Divided and alone, we are powerless. People from all parties are unhappy with what's going on right now in our government. In our three sessions together, you'll practice the tools of nonviolent action designed to help us find our power in the midst of chaos and cruelty, learn how to overcome the politics of hate and division, see how to move us forward in the stages of movement building, and discover the campaigns that have won victories for the people in the past and that are winning victories today. We'll study the campaigns to restore SNAP, support immigrants, bring Homes and Medicare for All. Black and Indigenous Resistance. No Oligarchs tour with Bernie/AOC. No Kings with Indivisible supported by 7 million people. Union-led General Strike. Consumer Boycotts. Re-instate Kimmell. Divest Movement. Hands across the Hills. Mutual Aid Networks. - and help each other to discover our place in the movement to build the world we want for our children. Immediate action is necessary.
