Improvisation for Anxiety: Finding Calm Through Creative Play
This class uses the tools of improvisational theater to help participants manage anxiety, build confidence, and reconnect with a sense of ease and playfulness. Through supportive, low-pressure improv exercises, you’ll practice being present in the moment, saying “yes” to yourself and others, and finding joy in spontaneity.
Each session combines gentle warm-ups, mindfulness techniques, and group improvisation activities designed to reduce self-judgment and increase emotional flexibility. No acting experience is required—just a willingness to explore, have fun, and connect with others in a safe, encouraging environment.
Benefits include:
- Reduced social and performance anxiety
- Improved self-expression and confidence
- Greater comfort with uncertainty
- Enhanced listening and communication skills
- A renewed sense of play and connection
