Surrey Munro Saturday 7th February 2026

This walk is a varied walk in the Surrey Hills, with a total ascent equivalent to that of climbing a Munro (i.e. 3000 ft, or 915 metres).

Location: The walk will start from near Box Hill, where parking is available, but is also accessible by train from Dorking or Boxhill and Westhumble stations. 

The walk: A mixture of paths over White Hill, Juniper Top, Box Hill etc. Probably about 12 miles and 3000 feet of ascent. Note that this walk includes substantially more ascent than most day walks, and may finish in the dark.

Lunch: Please bring a packed lunch. We may be able to get a hot drink at some point along the route.

Afterwards: There will be the option to go to a local pub for an early supper

Bookings are now open and will close a week before the event (i.e. Saturday 31st January, 2026).
