The Technovation Girls Get Started Challenge is a competition that encourages girls to spearhead change with the help of technology in their communities to solve various problems.

Coding Lab invites female students aged 8-12 who have completed Scratch 2 (for Ages 8-9) or App Inventor 2 (for ages 10-12) to join us for a super-charged training programme from brainstorming ideas to training AI models and creating apps which are ready for use in the real world!

Pre-requisites for Participants

• Age 8 – 12 years old as of August 1, 2026
• Participants will be put into teams comprising of 1 to 5 girls
• Grouping will be done by Coding Lab tutors, and this will be based on students' age and strengths to foster group synergy
• Prior experience in coding required: Must have completed Scratch 2 (for Ages 8-9) or App Inventor 2 (for ages 10-12)
