Person Centered Thinking (PCT) is more than a planning method—it’s a mindset and a set of everyday practices that empower people to have positive control over their lives and participate fully in their communities. This training equips practitioners with the value-based skills and tools needed to integrate person centered thinking into daily interactions and decision-making.
Participants will learn practical strategies to:
- Recognize and act on what is most important to and for each person they support
- Naturally update and adapt plans based on ongoing learning
- Build stronger, more respectful relationships rooted in the individual’s strengths, preferences, and goals
Whether you work directly with individuals or support them through broader systems, Person Centered Thinking provides a foundation for more meaningful plans, better outcomes, and improved quality of life. This training will help you see the people you support in a new light—and give you the tools to make that vision part of everyday practice.
