This is the best starter instrument. Learn good practice habits, basic music reading, as well as breathing and fingering techniques. The ideal age to start is age 7, and parents may have to assist with practice 3x per week until a steady habit is formed. This is the beginning of your child's musical foundation and gives them an excellent start.

Students can opt to end their morning in Room 7 with Rhythm and Music games for 15min from 11.15-11.30am.

Two years of learning the recorder will provide a strong foundation for other instruments, especially wind instruments.
