Green Woodworking: Make a Stool
Learn more about green woodworking and traditional hand tools.

During the course, you will gain practical experience working with a drawknife and shaving horse, and other traditional hand tools.  A shaving horse is an essential green woodworking tool that is both a foot-operated vice and workbench used in a host of green wood crafts such as chair making, spoon carving and coopering.
While making your own post-and-rung stool with a woven seat, you will learn to split and shave green timber, dry the fresh wood, and join the frame together.
Join us for this exciting exploration of green woodcraft.
