This is the course required by the state of IL to renew your IL Conceal Carry License.

Please ensure your first and last names are entered **exactly** as they appear on your license. There will be approximately 2 hours of classroom time and 1 hour of range time.

Topics that will be covered are but not limited too:

• Safe ownership, handling, transportation, carry and storage of firearms
• Handgun Handling
• Conflict avoidance and de-escalation
• When and where you can legally carry
• What to do during a law enforcement encounter
• The legal use of force

What to bring:

Unless you selected for me to provide loaner equipment (during check out process).

• Your handgun.
• 50 rounds of ammunition.
• At least 2 magazines loaded with 10 round each
• If you have your own shooting glasses and hearing protection, please bring them. If not, I have loaners available.
  

What to wear:

• A shirt with a snug collar
• A baseball cap or visor (to protect the gap at top of your eye protection)
• Closed-toe shoes (no sandals).

After successfully completing the course, we’ll issue a Certificate of Training that you can submit to the State to prove you have met the training requirement.
