We have only 10 firing slots available. First come first serve. Raku pots are unpredictable. They may explode. There is no guarantee that they will survive.   You may fire 2 pots. The firing fee is $100. Everyone must pay to fire. Clay, special instruction, glaze will be provided as part of the Raku class.
Please fill out this form to reserve your spot. Once the spots are filled. We will not accept any more request for this event. Make sure that you are on the schedule. Students are required to bring their own pieces to the Farm. You will glaze the piece at the Farm. After the firing, once cool, the pots may be taken home on the same day.

This event is free to attend. The Event is being held at our 90 acre Farm in Hickory Grove SC.
Raku is fun to watch as red hot glowing pots are removed from the kiln to be placed in wood chips to further reduce the oxygen and create metallic colorful surfaces or other unique effects.
Snacks and bathroom facilities will be provided. Good dogs are welcome.
