Certification Assessment Overview

A 75-minute online session with you and a District C Lead Coach:

[05 minutes] Setting the stage: We'll take a few minutes to set the context and review the agenda

[20 minutes] Questioning + Take 5 Tool introduction and role play

• Using the Teamship slides provided to you during training, you will role-play introducing the concept of District C tools, and then the Questioning Tool and Take 5 Tool just like you would if you were facilitating this part of Teamship for your own students. This presentation usually takes 8-12 minutes, but please take no more than 12 minutes.
• After you intro the Questioning Tool and Take 5 Tool, you will watch a video of students doing questioning, and you will role-play making a coaching move to that cohort of students at the end of the clip.

[15 minutes] Clip #1: Team observation and analysis

• You will observe a short clip of a student team at work.
• After observing the clip, you will have a few minutes to analyze the team's work, share insights, and suggest coaching moves.

[15 minutes] Clip #2: Team observation and analysis

• Same as above with a different clip.

[20 minutes] Reflection and feedback

• You will have an opportunity to reflect on the previous segments. 
• The District C Lead Coach will then provide feedback using the support (+) and challenge (Δ) framework.
