Create a teapot without using the wheel! We'll learn how to build the body, a lid, a dribble-free spout and make ergonomic handles. Customize it just how you like!
Week 1 - Design
Choose the shape of your teapot and from paper templates. We'll roll out a slab and build the teapot body, lid and spout.

Week 2 - Assembly
We’ll add the spout and handle to create both a functional and sculptural teapot. You’ll also have the chance to also add surface designs and finishing touches before the pieces are left to dry for firing.

[We take a 1 week break in order to prepare for the glaze class]

Learn how to glaze a teapot, and add any additional design elements with glaze and underglaze to make your teapot one of a kind!
