Private Class Fisher Family
Blacksmithing 101 is a class that will introduce you to the basic techniques, tools, terminology and processes that are used in blacksmithing. This class is 10% theory and 90% hands on learning, this means that we will spend very little chatting and a lot of time hitting hot metal! We provide all of the safety gear but if you have your own, you are more than welcome to bring it. We will start at 9 am and we will break around 12:00 for lunch. Our goal is to have either a few simple projects or either a paracord wrapped knife/railroad spike knife completed at the end of the day. I recommend you to hydrate the day before the class and bring a good amount of water because you will break a sweat, I promise. Also NO SHORTS! please wear jeans / work pants and top leather shoes. Long sleeve is recommended. Please email us if you have any questions.
