Handbuilt Textured Plates with Celadon Glazes

Learn to hand build 2 plates using GR Pottery forms during this 2 week workshop. During the first class, we will be using different textures: rolling pins, plastic placemats/texture mats, and/or stamps to create a one of a kind plate. We will hand build the plates using GR Pottery forms and use the press plate method. In the 2nd class, we will be using Amaco Celadon glazes to glaze our pieces. The finished plates will be ready 2-3 weeks after the last class. If you are currently in a pottery class, they will be put on your shelf.
