Private Sewing Instruction
Looking for personalized guidance on your sewing journey?
Join Lindsey Boyer for a private, one-on-one lesson tailored entirely to your skill level, project, and goals.
Whether you're brand new to sewing, returning after time away, or looking to build advanced techniques, Lindsey is here to help you grow with confidence.
Lindsey is a Legacy Student from The Sewing Labs, where she honed her craft in sewing and garment manufacturing with hands-on industry experience at Sacred Stitches. She later ran her own "Cut and Sew" micro factory, Bee2Bee Sewing, providing contract sewing services to small local businesses. Alongside her professional background, Lindsey has taught students of all ages through TSL's Stitch Camp and Threadventures programs, bringing patience, clarity, and real-world insight to every lesson.
In your private session, Lindsey can assist you with many sewing skills, including:
• perfecting techniques using specific sewing machine feet
• learning to read, understand, and troubleshoot patterns
• expanding your knowledge of industrial sewing machines
• getting comfortable with your personal home sewing machine
• And so much more!
No matter where you are in your sewing journey, this private lesson provides the support, expertise, and encouragement you need to succeed.
Please note that Private Sewing Instruction is priced at an hourly rate. If your instructor feels the requested lesson may require more time than what was scheduled, they will reach out to discuss options. Pattern reading and garment construction often take multiple hours or sessions to complete. Additional time can always be added and purchased during your lesson if needed.
In the event of winter weather affecting class schedules, we prioritize the safety of our students and staff. If there are any changes or cancellations due to inclement weather, we will notify you promptly. By 6 am on the affected day, an email will be sent to all registered students containing important updates.
Additionally, we will post announcements on our official website and social media pages to keep you informed. Please ensure that you check your email, visit our website, and follow our social media channels for the latest information during adverse weather conditions.
It's important to note that we generally follow the Kansas City, Missouri Public Schools closing decisions. Your safety is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in staying updated with any schedule changes caused by winter weather.
