Christian Walking Club

Much of this 8 mile route is along the sandstone ridge that runs across Cheshire. After climbing the steady slopes of Bulkeley Hill, we will continue to Raw Head which at 227m, is the highest point on ridge, both Bulkeley Hill and Raw Head will allow views across Cheshire. Indeed, the whole walk provides a succession of similarly superb viewpoints from modest heights and this will be for relatively little effort as any climbing is steady rather than steep or strenuous.

This walks is designed for any new people who may want to explore The Christian Walking Club and meet some of the members from the local NW and national club. All are welcome though from existing local groups or members of CWC.

Free parking is available directly in front of the former candle workshops to the right of the Pheasant Pub which is iconic and where we enjoy refreshments directly after the walk.
