Join the Faculty Hub and Libby Gruner (Professor of English, Director of FYS and Writing Across the Curriculum) for a faculty development series designed specifically for those who are currently developing or revising a Written Communication or FYS course in the new Web of Inquiry curriculum.
This faculty development workshop series will include four 75 min sessions. We hope participants will leave each workshop with a better understanding of Written Communication and FYS course objectives and a practical list of activities and assignments to incorporate directly into their course design. A consideration of the role of Generative AI in writing will be threaded throughout the sessions. Participants who complete all four sessions will receive a $1000 stipend.
This series will be co-facilitated by Libby Gruner (English) and Ryan Cales (Faculty Hub). See below for more details about each session. Lunch will be provided at each session.
