Come sew an apron! This project uses just one yard of fabric and is beginner-friendly. In this class, you will learn how to gather and stitch ruffles, turn a hem, and sew on pockets. You can wear it yourself using the waist tie or you can modify the ties to use it as an adorable curtain for your oven or dishwasher door. Either way, it's fun and functional!

This is a great class for anyone who has gotten familiar with their sewing machine and is looking for a good project with straight seams to practice stitching.

Please note: In order to have enough time to sew during class, you will be need to cut your fabric pieces prior to class. I will email a cutting diagram as soon as you register. Please contact me before the class date for any assistance you need.

Class instruction includes loads of hands-on help. Bring yourself (and maybe a friend!), the items listed in the What to Bring section below, and a can-do attitude.

WHO CAN COME: Adults ages 18 and up

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner to intermediate

PREREQUISITES: Attendees MUST already know how to thread and use their sewing machine and load a bobbin.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Your apron pieces (fabric must be cut prior to class)
• Sewing machine, power cable and foot pedal (also bring the user manual if you still have it)
• Everything else that came with your machine (bobbins, accessory feet, extra machine needles, etc.)
• A spool of regular sewing machine thread that matches your apron fabric
• A bobbin loaded with the same matching thread
• Scissors or snips
• A snack or two to keep you energized
• A beverage to keep you hydrated (please make sure your bottle or tumbler has a lid that seals to prevent spills)

**NOTES:** This is an in-person adult (ages 18 and over) class held at the location listed.
