Becoming Elli

This is a crochet class for young students aged 10 and up. Crocheters will stitch a cool multi-strand cuff bracelet that can include beads if anyone wants to bling it up! This project includes the following techniques:

• Reading a pattern
• Carefully counting and skipping stitches
• Working without twisting chains
• Working a buttonhole
• Beading (OPTIONAL)

WHO CAN COME: ages 10-17

SKILL LEVEL: Experienced beginner (students must know how to chain, single crochet, and increase stitches)

WHAT TO BRING:

• Size G hook (4.0 or 4.5 mm)
• Worsted weight (#4) cotton yarn (recommend Love This Cotton yarn from Hobby Lobby or
• Sugar 'n Cream available nearly anywhere)
• Scissors or snips
• Water bottle and a snack

WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED:

• Pattern instructions
• Size 6 seed beads
• Lots of vintage buttons to choose from (SO many buttons!)
• Hands-on help
• Fun!
